An Autobiography

This is an autobiography by Margaret Sanger, the American birth control activist. A prominent figure in women's rights and reproductive health, Sanger played a pivotal role in advocating for birth control and establishing Planned Parenthood. Her legacy is multifaceted, marked not only by her advocacy for women's reproductive rights but also by her controversial support for eugenics. Sanger believed in the concept of controlled breeding to improve the human race, a belief that aligned with the eugenics movement of the early 20th century. While she aimed to empower women through access to contraception, her association with eugenics remains a debated aspect of her legacy. Sanger's complex views on population control intersected with her advocacy for reproductive freedom, leaving a controversial imprint on her contributions to women's health and rights.
